Will the Xbox 360 VGA cable support my 1680x1050 resolution monitor?

I’d like to connect my Xbox 360 to my computer monitor that has a resolution of 1680×1050 and I am wondering how it will display on it. Will it default to a 720p resolution or display at my monitor’s native resolution?

it will default at 720. but make sure you go through your xbox’s system settings to get it there.
