I would call the BBC, asking them to come to my house with a complete camera-team, then fly together with the team and the rat to a remote tropical island, drink some cocktails and get myself a massage, throw the beast into an old vulcano and make a nice item for the 9 o’clock news.
On a more serious note: i would probably panic and jump off of my 8th story apartment.
Dissect it
Then use the carcass to re-enact the movie ratatouille
Aw, it was ugly, but sweet. No fear, indeed.
The same thing I’d do with any rat, get it out of my house. Rats aren’t scary. My cats might want it, though.
I’d scream, then come to my senses a bit and call animal control. While I waited for animal control, I’d get my camera and take pictures of it while my kids gave it a name and fed it treats. This answer is based on how I’ve reacted to other creatures in our house, like bats and mice, although I’ve never actually called animal control or fed treats to wild animals.
I would wonder what zoo it escaped from, since it clearly is not native.
you don’t want to know….
i’m a furry
Scream like a 10 year old girl, send the neighbors cat to attack it, beary the cat after the rat wins and start construction of the world’s biggest mouse trap.
A rat that measures in at just under 3 feet? That’s about cat size. Bigger in many cases.
* yawn*
I see rats like that in the NYC subway tracks all the time.
Shrug and hang out with it.
I don’t know, maybe train it ( and his other clan members) to become ninja rat assassins.
Adopt it, if my cats would let me.
Pistol-whip that bad boy.
I don’t know, it’s kind of cute. Plus, rats make good pets. I had one when I was little. I would probably keep it and name it Stinky.
If I saw that in my kitchen, I would be the one nicknamed Stinky.
I would try enticing it with food… hoping with unrealistic optimism that it would let me pet and cuddle him.
Awww, I love rats xoxo
PERFECT!!! I would set it up on a large treadmill connected to battery packs and a generator and allow him to power my house.
I had a mouse for years that ran for hours on a wheel- this could be a natural source of electricity and power cities.
Aw, he’s cute. I’d probably try to keep it as a pet. I love rats. They’re sweet.
I watched the first episode of the three part show this was from, it was excellent, can’t wait for the next two. Keep your eyes out for it when it comes to the BBC Channel wherever you are.
Lost Land of the Volcano
@RareDenver Yea it was a great show , i wonder what next they will find especially in that cave
@sandystrachan that cave is mental, not as mental as the guys going in it though, I can’t believe they were setting up camp for the night in there. I’ve always enjoyed pot holing but that is a whole new level.
@RareDenver I know sleeping in a flooded and ever flooding cave , they are nuts part of me was wanting that rope to snap when he tugged on it tho .
I find it hard ANYONE watching even you @RareDenver didn’t deep down think please snap .
