If I want to use custom graphics to design a WordPress blog of mine - how can I find out the dimensions of the spaces in the standard WordPress blog to fill in with my designer's customer graphics?

Asked by delta77 (196points) September 9th, 2009

I want to use a WordPress back-end for a blog I want to create – but I want all the design artwork and graphics to be custom. Is this possible? And how can I find the dimensions of the spaces on the WordPress blog that are available for these custom graphics?

There are some themes (i think two) that allow you to put your own header-photo on. If that is what you mean.

Use whatever. Just edit the CSS file. You can do whatever you want with it.

If you just want to replace images with ones you make that are the same size right click and select properties. It will (should) tell you the dimensions

check dimensions by view properties, make your own graphics to fit, keep them in the images folder ( i think its ‘style/images/ ) on the default theme. and then edit the CSS to call your graphics

You could always just hire someone to do it for you.
