I am thinking that Ginkgo Balboa might help with the neuropathy?

You know who is knowledgeable about these kind of things… Doctors. Ask one of them.

The internet is for Fluther, Google, and Porn, not for diagnosis.

Most likely the cause is elevated HbA1c levels over many years. I’ve heard that Ginkgo Biloba helps a little, but above all your HbA1c should be less than 7 or even better less than 6.5

@mattbrowne Thankyou. I don’t know what that stuff is but if the herb will help then I should use it. The ALA is already helping some. Another tweak should be helpful. There are other reasons for the Ginkgo.

@jeffgoldblumsprivatefacilities My Doctor is not all that knowledgeable about Diabetes and I do not have access to others.
That is why I did not try to ask him. One of the problems that diabetics have is excess urination. That is bad because it helps destabilize the bodies systems. What you take for it is an antidiuretic. He suggested a water pill. I refused. Now I have found out that would have been a bad idea.

I have to do my own learning in how to take care of myself. Other people no matter how smart are simply not as interested in me as I am.
I did find out today that my diabetic testing supplies are cheap. I can buy them myself. I will now be able to get all the test strips I need. That takes away a worry that no diabetic can afford to have. Such worries are deadly.
The best person to be in charge of my medical care is me. I don’t care who pays for it.

@walterallenhaxton – How often are your HbA1c tests done? Once every 3 months?
