Why can't I move my songs in my iPhone?

I bought a MacBook Pro a few days ago and before I had an iMac. I always added and edited songs on my iPhone on my iMac, but now, I can’t do any of that anymore because this is what my iTunes looks like when I select my iPhone on my MacBook. I can’t play the music nor drag them to playlists, but all those songs were added from my MacBook.
What’s wrong and how can I get it back to the way it was on my iMac?
(btw, I already restored its original settings)

I don’t know about the iPhone, but, I do know that it won’t let you drag songs onto your playlist if it’s in Sync, you have to check the “manage music manually” box and it will let you.
Or, it might be those Nickleback songs that are messing up your system. :)
@Tink1113 First of all, thanks a lot for your help, you were right!
No, I’m not talking about the Nickelback songs ;)
It’s the manually manage music thing I had to check! How could I not have thought about this!? Thank you so much!
@bvdshec17 No problem, I’ve been there before.
If you say so. :P
And everytime you reset your settings you will have to check that box again.
If it helps at all, iTunes 9 has a feature called “Home Sharing” that lets you share music across a local area network on all computers with the same account authorization. Just remember that both macs have to have itunes on.
Don’t use iTunes 9 though (yet). There are a lot of issues with it.
Don’t iPods and iPhones sync to a specific computer (instead of an account)?
It might detect that it’s another computer. Maybe you should empty it first, and then re-fill it from the new computer.
@Inofaith That would be alot of work, nothing will happen when he connects it with iTunes 9.
If a window pops up saying that everything will be synced to your iPod/iPhone press cancel. It will still connect it but won’t load everything it says it will. Then you click on the picture of your iPod/iPhone on the left and push “manage music manually” and there.
