Sounds inappropriate.

It is inappropriate. That’s the point.

I guess

I think it started that way, not ended that way.

People started using it to refer to their sexual partners.

Then the term sugar daddy came into use. Finally, it got shortened back to the egregious “Who’s your daddy?”

I don’t know. I always thought it weird that the word “daddy” is associated with sex. Seemed like a reference to incest to me. Does not turn me on in the least.

I don’t care if other people say it! Just always thought it was weird.

I always just thought it was funny. Denny Crane said it all the time on Boston Legal.

I was at my girlfriend’s this past weekend and noticed a mug in her cupboard that said “We love you Grandpa” (it had hearts on it and a little koala bear). I asked her “what’s this?” Her response, “Heh, well, all of the ladies call me “Grandpa””. Cracked me up.

I think Arnie killed the sexual side of that . ”
Peter definitely spoiled it for his son , tho both are funny :P

Never really thought about it before. I just figured it was the opposite of: Come to momma. Which is just as weird.

The first time I heard it used in a sexual way was shock-jock Greaseman.

or maybe fathers in Indiana are really sexy, as in “Hoosier Daddy!

Oooer, you need to watch this, @The.

The, er, climax, starts at 2:30, but the whole thing’s a hoot. “Who’s your daddy?” has been around for a dog’s age.

No idea, but I think it’s pretty disgusting. I’d punch a guy in the face if he ever tried to say that to me during an intimate moment.

It probably came into being about the same time men started calling their lovers “baby”. There seems to be a connection there. The man expects the woman to be helpless and submissive, she calls him her daddy, and he calls her his baby.

My husband pulled out the “daddy” terms one night and it really kinda ruined the mood for me. We have kids under 10 and for some reason it sounded pervy to me.

I dunno, but when i coined in 1993, everyone thought it was great.
though who’s to say if someone in West Virginia used it first.

It should be noted, conversely, that if a girl calls you “daddy” in bed, put your pants on in the car. do not wait.

ugh! I’ll stop the action right then and there if I EVER hear that line.

Also, if the sex is any good, no one is wasting energy with any weird exclamations. heavy breathing, groans and moans, etc, work just fine ;)
