What is the best way to from San Diego to LAX via train?

I can save a lot of money if fly out of LAX for a trip. How do I get there?

Looks like Amtrak does this route.

And 29 bucks seems cheap.

Yes, the guys got it right: Amtrak is the way to go. Try and catch the sunset as you travel the coastline….it’s very scenic and quite beautiful.

It doesn’t look like I’ll be able to do it via train. The first train won’t get there in time for my flight.

Explain – Puddle Jumper.

@assistant09….A puddle jumper is generally a small plane used for connector flights between smaller sized airports. The term is also used to describe a seaplane which takes off and lands in water. It has pontoons (floats) under the main body and on the wings. .I have been on a dozen or so flights (remote salmon fishing) and it is quite an experience skimming along on top of the water.
