I need help with a MAME game...

For those who are familiar with the term MAME, (multiple arcade machine emulator), and software to run it, I need help running one of my absolute favorites, frogger. After testing the emulator on multiple computers, frogger worked fine with no errors at all. But the computer that I’m using, (to build an arcade machine), refuses to play frogger, and I have absolutely no idea why. The application, (MAME32), gets one of those infamous “error reports” in which you send or do not send to microsoft, followed by the computer freezing, and me having to force quit the emulator. I know this is kind of a stupid thing to get frustrated about, but if I’m going to have an arcade machine, then it MUST have Frogger on it. :-P

I also forgot to mention that all of my other games still work. Frogger is the only one that doesn’t.
Have you tried a different Frogger Rom?
I wouldn’t expect anyone here to get that.
Well I distinctly remember frogger working on mine, but that was ages ago and it was a slow machine with win98. I assume some of those roms might have problems with your system being too fast. Why not try installing win98 on a partition (you can still use your other OS on it too) and see if it works then?
Are you using a rom set that belongs to your version of MAME?
@mrentropy
I would assume so because it worked on the other computers I’ve tried it on, just not this specific one.
Perhaps if I update the computer and then try it… It’s an old computer that’s been sitting in the basement for a while, so I’m sure there are a lot of updates… :-/
