Actually, don’t limit yourself to the 80’s if you have ideas about other decades go for it.
For example….
1940’s – Humphrey Bogart, Winston Churchill…
1930’s – Amelia Earhart, Billie Holiday…
1890’s – Albert Einstein, Bram Stoker…

It WAS around in the eighties. Google goes back to 1982. I was using it in those days – it was well before Tim Berners-Lee and no web, but there were mail lists, FTP, newsgroups etc.
Google wasn’t there as Google – it was Deja Vu, later acquired by Google.
Culture Club and Eurythmics.
Thompson Twins and Adam Ant.
Pat Benatar.
Love totally is a battlefield, man.
@Sarcasm She just played here with Debbie Harry a few months ago. I didn’t go to see it though.

@JLeslie I didn’t want to acknowledge his existence.
I said Patrick who? because, of his sad passing away, his name (and all his movies, on the Dutch telly) goes around much these days.
I apologise to you if it hurt you.
It’s never my intention to joke about people who pass away.
Your comment makes me rethink if i didn’t do just that in my answering above.
Thanks for that.
