Does anyone know of the best way to find 24 hr. coffee shops or restaurants (other then Denny's) in the Southern Cali area?

I’m always trying to find new places, cafes, coffee shops, etc. to go to late at night in Southern Cali. However, I can’t seem to find any website or database online. The only 24hr coffee shop I know of is in San Diego, and I’m trying to find one that is closer to home (Riverside County).

Are there any Waffle House’s or iHops?
Studio Diner is in San Diego and I think it’s 24 hours.
Also- Saigon on 5th is a restaurant in Hillcrest open to 2am.
And Brian’s 24 in downtown. It’s on 6th and E.
But I’ll be following this question too. My boyfriend works late and we can never find anywhere to go after he gets out of work.
Have you tried yelp.com? they might have some suggestions, and i think you can search by the hours a place is open.
I don’t think there really is any database of them online, best chance is to drive around and check.
I live in SD County (Rural/suburban northern part of it, not southern more urban area), we don’t really have anything other than Denny’s that’s open 24 hours. There are a few mexican places that’re open until 2 or 3am, but that’s about it.
I’m sure as you head further into the urban heart of your county, you’d find a bunch.

@Sarcasm – What are the places up north open until 2 or 3am? I’m always looking for places near Rancho Santa Fe/ Encinitas/ Del Mar. Are you near these areas? Captain Kenos is a bar/restaurant open late in Encinitas on the 101— it’s an interesting place but it’s one of the only places open.
i think for that type of market, you need to live somewhere back east. here in chicago, we have diners, drive-ins and dives that stay open all night. in my travels west though, i am the frustrated “late evening out” person who cannot believe a restaurant (other than denny’s) or club is closed so early in the evening.
