Very simple. I want an automatic 200+ FPS P90 that won’t break and preferable has a sight (red dot or ACOG, cheap but reliable). I know what I’m asking for is very unreasonable, but I have faith in fluther!
Is this a reliable gun?

none,,,, they will be spring or very very cheap and the gears will strip on you after less then a year…. trust me, save the money, go with Olympian arms or Tokyo marui. youll be glad you did in the long run…
@kibaxcheza Could you provide some links? And how much are those models?
mine is from “well”
it was extremely cheap (less than 30 quid i think) and according to the box, does 400 shots per minute, but I barely use it (one of the things i bought thinking “would be cool to have”.
@ragingloli The gun you’re talking about sounds incredibly similar to the one I want to buy, is it accurate/well made/still working right? Can you provide a link?

it is still working, but it jams more often than I would like (meaning the pellets sometimes block the exit of the magazine so that it doesn’t reload for the next shot.)
but as i said, it mainly is just for decoration, i almost never use it.
and it deflects by a few centimetres on several metres away, but i guess that is inherent with light plastic pellets.
I have a Tokyo Marui M8000 Cougar which is very realistic looking (and illegal where I live). The quality of the construction is quite nice, but I’m not sure about the operation. I bought four of them: one of them no longer holds the clip inside, the spring broke another and third just fell to pieces. I’m super careful with my last one because of how nice it looks. I got them for around $17—$18 a piece, but I doubt you can find those prices anymore.
I really wish I had a Beretta M92 (which oddly enough, looks very much like the M8000, only longer). But I’m not willing to pay much for it, and the Tokyo Marui’s are kinda expensive for me.
DO NOT ORDER FROM WELL
My brother bought an M4A1 from them, broke in 3 months. My G3 SAS was also from them, the gears stripped from less than a year of light use.
FROM PERSONAL EXPERIENCE WELL IS NOTHING BUT A PILE OF CRAP.
Tokyo Marui and other LEGIT airsoft companies can be found on Precisionairsoft.com
If you say they are to expensive, then you dont have enough sense or money to play the game. Thats all there is to it.
WELL has an idea that increased hop-up will make up for their awful design and manufacturing. I dont need links to prove this, as ive had extensive first hand experience. The shots will either stray up or right after a small window of time.
If you have one of theyre guns, you will become nothing but a target.
$50 for a Tokyo Marui M92F?!? I’m not arguing about the quality (they look quite real and have a good weight), but I can’t justify spending $50 for a toy gun.
Makes me wish I had bought more of those M8000’s while the guy was getting rid of them cheap…
@drdoombot
toy gun
well, if it has a muzzle energy of more than 7,5 Joule, it is legally considered a weapon. (under German law, that is)
they are as much weapons as bean bag guns and paintball guns are…
Ive been ripped with a p90 going at 320Fps with 21 Bps. It left a nice line of welts and cuts up my spine.
@kibaxcheza I couldn’t find a P90 for under $160 on that site. I’m willing to
pay NO MORE than $100. Any other sites with good guns on them?
check e bay for discounted guns. Are you an arena player, or are you just looking for one because theyre “cool”.
@kibaxcheza I’m neither. I’m putting together a real version of search and destroy (CoD4), and I need guns.
Dude, dont waste my time then.
Video games are virtual. Leave real sports to real players.
If youre not serious then buy whatever you want. Dont waste people’s time asking for the best sports equipment then youre really just playing a game of tag.
Airsoft guns can cause real damage and can even scar people for life. they are not toys, and should not be treated as such.
If youre re-enacting video games, go buy lazer tag guns,
@kibaxcheza Exactly how am I doing something inferior to you? Last time I checked, what you’re doing is the same thing, only I don’t want to pour sh*tloads of money into it, and only doing it for fun. And I’m not re-enacting a video game, I’m using an idea from it, I never said I was looking for the BEST, I don’t want to be stuck with something that’s just gonna break anyway. So how bout you jump off your high horse about plastic guns that shoot plastic pellets.
Read your damn question. It clearly says “best”.
Arena play is a lot more than you think. Take a real fire fight, and take away the death part, and thats what real airsoft is. They arnt plastic, they are full metal. The plastic ones are on the rack at Dick’s. Go there to get your toys.
And just an FYI, EVERYTHING breaks.
@kibaxcheza I said best for UNDER $100. So yeah, if you can find a full metal P90 for under $100, you good sir, are a liar. And I know everything breaks, but it shouldn’t in a month.
@kibaxcheza God you’re touchy. Know any accurate snipers (3” at least, preferably) at 400+ feet for under $1000?
OK if your going to play at least take some basic firearms safety classes i know some people who will shoot you off the field but save your money get a p90 from Tokyo Marui or ECHO1 they are both great guns you’ll have a good p90 that will work until you get over your craze also have fun if you ever get serious into airsoft you WILL have your gun for the job
