What image? Do you have a link to the photo?
You mean this humanoid on Mars?
It’s likely just a happy accident of light and shadow.
OR
It’s the pirate embodiment of our pastafarian saviour, the FSM.
I’m banking on the later!
yes, that’s the one.
I’m sure it’s nothing, but still interesting.
It’s a shadow that looked like a face.
@zaku I’m not talking about that one. Or the image of the skull (which looks pretty real)... I’m talking about the new NASA image that just came out. Paulc linked it. I would link the news sites and others but I’m on my iPhone & driving. So bad idea.
Oh, I’m sorry vanguardian – my mistake. Looks like no one knows yet, but I’m thinking the odds are… it’s a rock. ;-)
no its cool zaku
Just watched Signs last night and figured I would warn the fluther community of a possible invasion. Once “they” get wind of this picture, they’ll be pissed.
The atmosphere on Mars consists of 95% carbon dioxide, 3% nitrogen, 1.6% argon, ...
That should make it easy to ID “Them”.....the guys who are taking very shallow breaths.
Here’s the rub ” he” looks to be in his early 40’s ? Midlife crisis , had to get away for atime. Just like me good night Elvis.
I think it’s either Xenu or the astral projection of Tom Cruise. Either way, The Church of Scientology is involved and only Ron Paul can get to the bottom of it. Digg me down for sarcasm. Oops, wrong site.
Gail, maybe he is in a space suit… made of Mars rock.
@ Zaku; I guess that “he” is better than “they. The Invasion of the Martian, w. the inhaler? Or could the guy in the space suit be Michael Jackson, who certainly acts like an alien?
@Gail – I find myself unable and/or unwilling to scientifically prove that it is not Michael Jackson. I feel that possibility might best be investigated by Weird Al Yankovic.
