Anyone know some really good songs that fit the following genres?
Okay, my main genres are as follows,
-Gospel Rock (eg:skillet, falling up)
-Hard Rock (RED)
-Emo (My Chemical Romance, Short Stack)
-Goth (Within Temptation, Evanesance)
-Alternative (The Goo Goo Dolls, Flyleaf, Angels and Airwaves)
-J-pop (Ali Project, Kanon Wakeshima)
-J-rock (Abbington Boys School, Maximum the Hormone)
-Punk (Blink-182)
-Comedy (Bloodhound Gang, Stephen Lynch)
-Rock (ALL!!)
Hope this helps narrow down the options. Thanks. ;)

Grizzly Bear – “Two Weeks”
Okay I have edited the question I hope it makes it easier for everyone to answer thankyou for pointing that out to me Ivan. :)
I like Rise Against’s Savior (and pretty much all that Rise Against has put out).
Metric’s Help, I’m Alive is another song I recently found and like.
EDIT: I had more, but after you edited your question, they no longer apply.
FM 103.9 is a local radio station that I like, and you might like, too. You can listen from where-ever by clicking the big ol’ “Listen Live” pic in the upper left hand corner.
Blink 182… punk?
Brand New
The Offspring
Bad Religion
Rage Against The Machine
Wilco
Tenacious D
Allie, I think so, well when I go into the cd stores that’s where they are. I don’t know that’s what I thought anyway. Am I wrong?
I LOVE the offspring btw, awesome band. Thankyou. :)
Defiance, Ohio
All the audio is free They support sharing their songs.
Some very bad video I took on youtube. I was really drunk.
I don’t deal well with genres, so I’m guessing here.
Rock/Hard Rock: Queens of the Stone Age
Comedy: CAKE
Punk: Bad Religion
Emo/Rock/Indie: Built to Spill
Punk/Funny: The Clash. Song: “Lost in the Supermarket.” Also, The Dead Milkmen are awesome; “Punk Rock Girl” and “Jesus in a Bottle” edit: real name of this song is “I Dream of Jesus” are particularly amusing songs.
Funny/Rock: Tenacious D
@Sarcasm your getting lurve! other than that I damn near puked at people’s picks such as @evegrimm choosing Rise Against because that fucking song and the CD it’s from represent the downfall of what I thought was a great band…
and how the fuck does Blink 182 exemplify punk?... jesus
@madcapper, I’m sorry you have such antagonism for Rise Against.
What would you pick, then? (I admit to having no street cred—I pick “horrible” music! :D )
@evegrimm no no I am perhaps just a bit salty because I loved that band but this last album of theirs was a total sellout. However Savior was my favorite song from the album… it is at least a good song to like haha
evergrimm I happen to like the music you recommended. Thankyou for your contribution. :)
