Probably not, but the evidence isn’t completely in. So far there is no empirical study to show that pheromones work in people the way they do in some animals. We do have a vomeronasal organ, and we do produce pheromones, and they have an effect: e.g. the syndrome where women who share the same dorm will eventually synchronize their menstrual periods. That seems to be a pheromonal phenomenon.
But as to attraction, I think maybe not, because if it worked, every perfume company would have a winning product, and there would be a lot more people falling in love.
A research study I was part of in college, showed none of them worked…......
…....BUT….. there was a marked improvement when people “thought” they were using them.
yeah I’m going to go with ‘highly unlikely’...just a scam
I had a friend who bought some spray pheremones around 10 years ago. He claimed that women seemed to be avoiding him more instead of being attracted to him. And he was something of a ladies man.
@pdworkin Lurve just for “pheromonal phenomenon.”
Why, thank you sir, I hadn’t thought anyone noticed.
