What is a good uniform color combination?
I’m wondering what a good uniform color combination would be. My uniform is red and blue, and very formal. What do you think a good style would be, instead of boring, basic colors?

Purple and Gold-Go Galileo
Just get some wild tie-dye.
What kind of a job is it for?
Purple and Chocolate Brown.
my uniform is tan khakis and forest green shirts.
depends on the place or thing. are we talking school? sports? suits?
What is this uniform for exactly? That will give us a better idea of what might work for you.
My “uniform” is blue shirts and brown pants. Anything from navy blue to a royal blue. I get so tired of wearing blue I could die. I would prefer if I could wear something orange or yellow once in a while.
rule of thumb:
1. black goes with anything
2. khaki too
3. so does white
4. blue, you can play with
5. gray has some options
but we really need to know the audience and the performers. need more detail…
Black and Orange; Hail, Mamaroneck High.
I think one reason why blue and black along with gold or another primary color such as red are so common is because they are relatively easy to match with. These are just classic combinations.
Other colors which may provide more variety or be perceived as “prettier” such as violet or teal are much harder to get consistent colors with. Also, they tend to fade unevenly from washing or exposure to sunlight etc.
Blue and other primary colors usually stay consistent and even faded blues will still match with newer ones. Not necessarily so for non-primary
colors.
It all depends upon what the goals are for the uniform.
Green and yellow – St. Patrick’s Fighting Irish.
You screen name give us a hint that you would probably favor Teal and Violet, which would be very nice. However, If you are interested in making a bold statement you need to go to the “neon” colors like Neon red and Neon green
I don’t understand the question at all. You said your uniform is red and blue so what are you looking for additional colors for?
I didn’t really understand that either, @janbb.
@janbb @Sarcasm I think the question means as an alternative or instead of the dull one they already use.
@YARNLADY but usually people have specific uniforms because that’s what everyone else at the school/workplace is required to wear to look, well, uniform. So if everyone’s able to have different colors, it really isn’t a uniform, is it? More of an outfit
Some uniforms are more uniform than others
