What should we name our flute/harp duo?

I’m a classically-trained flutist, and have recently teamed up with an excellent harpist (who happens to be a good friend of mine) to form a Duo. We’re both in our mid-20’s and live/gig in Southern California.
Any thoughts on an ensemble name? We thought about Venus Duo, but 1) it reminds me of the razor and 2) there’s already a Venus Duo out there.

I was going to jokingly suggest Garfunkel & Oates, and then I found out that’s the name of a real musical comedy duo in your area. Bwa!
Hmm.What is your genre? That would help me think of something.
@aprilsimnel Genre is classical, though we have more fun with it than most classical musicians….we talk to our audiences and throw in some fun pieces as well. For instance, we do some pieces by Latin American/South American composers Villa-Lobos and Piazzolla.
I’m going for something that would sound really professional yet catchy. We’d definitely want to add “Duo” on the end of it, so a one-word name would be best.
Two Angels
Heavenly Duo
Twuo
@melanie81
You are both beautiful! Something to remark on your beauty & the beauty of your music would be fitting!
@aprilsimnel Dolce duo! Nice!
Dammit @pdworkin: you beat me to it.
Honorable mention for ‘Tarp’ ?
Pipe & Strings
Celestial Wind
Fawn & Angel? (Fawn for pipe, Angel for harp?)
@eponymoushipster very nice. GA!
The Ambiguously Classical Duo
Well I had this great name, but @eponymoushipster beat me to it lol
could also be “strings and holes” but anyway…
Was thinking of something that tells people what you’re are playing, rather than who you are. Is it actually “heavenly”? Would you call it magical, mysterious, joyful, tranquil? I know it’s classical music, but what type? How would you characterise it? Why would people listen to it? What do they hope to get out of your music? That’s the key…
in harmony with the tone @oratio set, handstuff and mouthstuff?
How about…
The Fute & Harp Duo
Damn I was gonna say flarp
@Grisaille But they are too cute for an ugly name ;)
Oh, I didn’t even see the picture up there. Hmm…
I don’t know, but we need a flute/harp arrangement of Stairway to Heaven NOW.
Bella Duo which is also the name of a beauty product
High Notes
Two Duet (To Do It)
Gemini
Wyndenstrings
HAHAHA!! You guys crack me up….so many great (and hilarious) ideas!
@SpatzieLover thank you! :)
@Jack79 Hmm…not so much “heavenly”...in fact, we’re kind of trying to get away from that typical image of flute and harp. We haven’t built are full repertoire list up yet, so I’ll have to get back to you on our style, but what I DO know is that we like to reach out to listeners and inform them about classical music – in a fun way. We’re both very charismatic and outgoing, so we like to talk to our audiences and make them feel relaxed and comfortable asking questions, etc.
I think it would be great to play on that spicy sex appeal too….hey, it works for the Eroica Trio….
@melanie81 All the good ones are already taken: the Farts and Flarps and Harfs and Barfs. How about: _Flute and Harp seek Piano for Trio
@filmfann Actually, this isn’t such a bad idea….it would definitely reach out to the masses of people who don’t normally listen to classical music….maybe we could perform in bikinis?? (kidding)
