Best place for live music in SF?

What is the best place in San Francisco to watch live music? I’m a big fan of the Independent, but want to venture out and try new venues. Opnions?

Bottom of the Hill has something for everybody, but I find myself going to the Cafe duNord more than anywhere else these days.
