How to do disable notifications in Pidgin?

Asked by Dean_R (1points) September 24th, 2009

I’m using Pidgin 5.2.2 on Ubuntu 9.04.
Even if I change my status to “Do Not Disturb” Pidgin continues notifying me each time a buddy logs on.

I would like the option to disable notifications, has anyone got this to happen?

Thanks,
Dean.

Tools > Preferences > Sounds.

Here, you can un-check any event that you don’t want to make an alert. As for the actual text display alerts, I’m not sure.

I got the answer, it’s go click tools -> plugins, and modify the options from there.
