About this long.

What a strange question. What race are we discussing? Are we talking about male. female, adult?

Welcome to fluther. I gave you extra lurve so your lurve won’t be so lonely.

I always thought that if you extend both your arms, you get the length of your body?

Hey @DarkScribe How come you and I get the same stupid questions, and answer them too? Just wondering. Lurve.

@Zen i do believe you are correct, your wingspan = your height, right? except i’ve heard some people, michael jordan being one of them, have wingspans that are longer than their height significantly…like 6 inches or something for him. who knows.

@deni Most people, I guess. Michael Jordan doesn’t qualify as most people. ;-)

@Zen if you take your height and divide it by eight, thats how tall your head is!

Welcome to Fluther. Now firstly, you should add more details to your question. For example, in order to attract more people to answer this question, I would say something like:

Just today I was working in the garden and I managed to scratch myself on my bougainvilleas. As I was stretching out my arm to inspect the wound, a funny thing struck me: my arm suddenly seemed long. Now I know that this is a pretty weird question, but on average, how long would you say a person’s arm is?”

Then I would answer saying that it all depends because asking a question like that when humans come in all shapes in sizes is a pretty useless endeavour. It’s just like asking “how long is a piece of string?”.

Of course, if I were in one of my more pissy moods, I’d probably just ask you back:
“How long is a piece of string?”

This site thrives on personality. Questions with little to no detail turn most of us off as it indicates that the asker doesn’t really plan to stay/is too lazy to prompt a useful discussion/is just plain lazy.

We aren’t Yahoo Answers mate. We’re www.fluther.com. New site. New rules.

Hope you enjoy your stay. =)

Just long enough to reach the hand.

I’ve also heard that your wingspan is equal to your height. (**wingspan = measuring fingertip to fingertip with arms outstreteched). So if this is true, your arm length would be a function of how wide/broad your shoulders are.
