How do I decide on spoke count for a set of Edge Composite 45 clincher wheels?

I can select 18, 20, 24, and 28 spokes. How do I choose, is it based on weight?

Unless you’re a full on racer the more spokes the better. The slight difference in weight (very slight) isn’t worth jeopardizing overall sturdiness and longevity of the wheel. Once one spoke goes the rest fall like dominoes.

I would ask EDGE directly. They would have the most info to help you based on your weight and your roads. Any one else is just guessing.
