You would need a four year undergrad degree, then four years in medical school…but then comes the residency, which is however many years.

The question really isn’t what we think, it’s what you do.
As for the requirements, Cash has you covered. You may want to PM shilolo and Dr_C – just some of our Flutherites in the field.
how can test to see if I have steady hands?
@dembboyz56 Do you have your undergrad degree? Why don’t you worry about that and then getting into medical school before you choose a specialty. You may get in and find a passion for something else.
I’m still in high school lol..
Always stay in cutting edge technologies, especially in these hard times. Go for the jugular!
Do some volunteer work in a medical facility and see if that is really what you want, then visit your school counselor for advice on what courses to take.
Given the level of rationality you’ve shown in your other answers, I doubt that you have the mental skills and tenacity to make it through medical school.
A good friend of mine is in his third year of surgical residency, and he finds it less stressful than medical school because he only has to put in 80-hour weeks now. It’s not a career for the fainthearted.
@cwilbur: your doubting me, what could I have possibly said to show a low level of rationality, I’m kind of young anyway, I could alawys improve that..
your doubting me based on previous response I’ve given..not cool dude
@dembboyz56: all I have to go on is the threads I’ve seen you involved in, most of which, so far, have involved masturbation and marijuana and you arguing with people who gave answers you didn’t want to hear. I was not impressed.
