Any suggestions on how to find a particular Bass shoe?

Asked by syz (36034points) September 25th, 2009

I was in a Bass outlet store today and found a pair of boots that I loved. I’m not usually a shoe freak, and it’s unheard of for me to lust after a pair of shoes – so of course, they didn’t have my size. The salesperson didn’t have any ideas for me, and I’ve searched and searched online. The boot style was called “Berlin” and it’s a women’s motorcycle boot-style (less clunky than an actual motorcycle boot). Anyone have a sure fire site they can recommend?

They didn’t offer to order them for you in your size and have them shipped to you, or to at least check other locations? I thought that was standard nowadays… what a disappointment.

I was looking for a pair of Børn shoes so I just Googled the brand and the style name and went through the shops that came up. I did the same for my Keen Hiking Boots, and I ordered them online and picked them up at the nearest store with no shipping fees.

I probably would have had better luck if it weren’t an outlet store – they’re pretty minimal on customer service.

Have you e-mailed Bass? They probably have someone at the company who can help you. Give that a try.

@syz – I have a Bass Outlet 10 miles from my house, but my weekend is crazy, so I can’t go check for you – sorry! Famous Footwear does the ordering and shipping, and they’re equivalent to an Outlet, IMO.

I would google Bass outlets and call every one of them.
or use this link . I’ve never tried it. Hopefully it’s accurate!

Good luck! True shoe love is hard to come by.

Here are all the women’s boots currently available from Bass. None seems to be named Berlin, so they might be made specifically for the outlets or last year’s style, or named something else. Good luck!

PS: There is a Bass outlet near me. I could call them, if you want to give me your shoe size.

Travel back in time to when Bass was popular—maybe 15–20 years.

<< Still loves Bass shoes. Just sayin’.

When I bought my pairs, they were so well made I didn’t need to buy again. I think I’ve had both my camp mocs and penny loafers for almost 20 years now.
