It is added at the network level, it is not on the phone itself. You have to log into your account and change or remove the text there. (You have the option when you first set the email account up – but many don’t realise it at the time.)
so can i do it from the website?

Yes, log onto your account through the website and go into the edit account option. You will need to know your password – if you don’t have it you will have to contact Sprint and have them send it to your phone.
I’m in edit account but can’t figure out the proper link. Thanks for the tips!

It is normally just at the bottom of the page or in signatures.
It’s on the phone.
Go to email options.
Look for the “auto-signature” feature.

Email options isn’t on the phone – it logs you into your email account. Try to make any change with the radio switched off and see what I mean. I use several different email accounts on my BlackBerry, with a different signature on each. As soon as you go into “Email Settings” the phone displays “Connecting to email” then “existing users/Create a new account.
@DarkScribe I’m looking at it on my Blackberry right now. I work on these every day.

Then I don’t understand what the problem is. I also work with them and manage a BIS server for my workplace and a subsidiary company.
Explain to me how you can modify the standard “Sent from my BlackBerry” and its many variations from within the phone – without logging into your BlackBerry account.
Edit – Addendum;
I just checked three different current model BlackBerrys and none of them vary from the Storms and Curves that I normally use. All require you to be online to your account to make changes. That can be either with your phone or a WEB browser. Unless there is a HUGE difference in the way that RIM manages its Australian and North American users I can’t see how it can happen.
It’s the auto signature which is accessible through the phone itself.
By default, this says “Sent from my BlackBerry”.
I don’t understand why this is even a point of contention. It’s in the manual
You can choose not to believe me but I’ve no reason to lie.
You can also set an auto signature from the Blackberry Server but it is not necessary.
I’ll not argue this further. It’s too much like work.

Are you using a BIS phone or an internet phone?
What model phone are you using and “where” in the menu is that option?
Ok, argue with this:
How to remove sig
I am simply curious – you say that you have a way to do it in the phone, while even Crackberry.com (The world’s biggest online BlackBerry forum) still thinks the way I do.
I am always eager to learn something new – you say that you have something new.
