Is "The Informant" with Matt Damon a good movie?
“The Informant” looks funny in the previews, but is this just another trick where they use all the good parts of the movie for the preview and you end up sitting there while the credits roll and ask yourself, “Why do I fall for this s@#t every time?”

It looks really good…and it has Joel McHale in it, I adore him! sorry this doesn’t answer your question, but I thought I’d put my two cents in
Rotten Tomatoes voters give it a 76% (with 124 reviews).
For me, that’s not high enough for the $10. May vary for you.
Probably going to be one of those that’s good in the Redbox but not worth going to the movies for. I actually hardly ever go to the movies cuz I’m too cheap!
@SpatzieLover Have you watched his new show Community on NBC? It’s pretty funny!
@knitfroggy Yes, and the husband LURVES it. Our 4yr old said “Hey it’s the Soup guys new show!” So, I think he liked it too
@knitfroggy for awhile there we couldn’t get the wee one to stop saying “It’s Miley!”
I saw it last night and I didn’t think it was funny. It was a fairly uninteresting, too long story about a nutjob which was made to seem comic by silly background music and titles (you know, like “Paris, October, 19993” in pink psychedelic lettering) IMHO.
Anyone else see it?
I liked it. It made me laugh quite a bit. I thought Matt Damon was good and the plot was pretty interesting. That being said, I know others who thought it was a complete waste of time.
McHale! I’d go see it for him, not Matt Damon.
Tony Hale and Scott Bakula were draws for me too.
It was a lot longer than it should have been, but regardless it was a charming film that I do recommend. If you’re picky about how well your dollar is spent, wait to Netflix it or download it, as this is not a film enhanced by the theater experience.
