Gay sex question: Define the term "Power Botttom"?

Asked by gottamakeart (1323points) September 26th, 2009

So, I know what “Top” “Bottom” and “Versatile” refer to as far as sex preferences, But “Power Bottom” has me puzzled. Could someone explain just what this term actually means?

That’s pretty fun during straight sex too… controlling the sex even though you’re the one being taken from behind… if I read the definition correctly.

why does my boyfriend have to live so far away, damn it? >.<

‘Power bottom’ refers to a submissive that wishes to direct the dominance he or she recieves.

This is also known as ‘topping from the bottom’.

There are those that feel (my last top included) that all submissives are actually in control of the scene or relationship.

Please note: ‘Power Bottom’ is not exclusively a gay sex term. Dominance and submission in sex and relationships trancends sexual orientation. Homosexuals, they always think it’s all about them.

As I’ve pointed out ;)

Power Bottom is basically the more sexually dominant partner directing the play and their own switch which eases a lot of adventuresome minded but nervous partners try out and enjoy a more dominant role for themselves. I’ll agree with the previous comments also that this in not a Gay sex thing, it’s a sex thing.

I was just thinking….wouldn’t it also be a great name for a (parody) gay comic-book hero?
Imagine taming villians THAT way!

“Homosexuals they always think it’s all about them”.

No, they don’t.
