That depends on your point of reference. If you equate cost with value, then this, a bean that has passed through the digestive system of a civet.
Arabica.
Robusta is cheaper and lower quality.
@Noel_S_Leitmotiv I’ve had that, actually. It tastes nearly the same as any other good quality coffee. It’s expensive nature comes from the, erm, process it goes through, as well as the harvesting and relative rarity. But flavor-wise, it’s up there with regular old high end coffee.
I prefer a medium-roasted Sumatra to just about anything else out there.
(FYI: Starbucks only makes a dark roasted Sumatra…it’s sort-of a specialty roast.)
However, this coffee makes excellent espresso.
@evegrimm lavazza is good. i enjoy illy cafe as well.
