What's a fun way to make street basketball fun and different?

You can have a basketball tournament. People do that here all the time. If you have four teams then two play off until there’s a winner. The other two play off until there’s a winner. Then the winners play off to see who is champ.

You can also play games like HORSE. You probably already know what this is. But one person will sink a basket using some funny style. Then everyone else has to make the basket the same way. If you miss then you get a letter. Whoever spells HORSE first loses.

You could also play AND1 basketball. This is where both teams try to show off as much as possible while playing. This includes doing basketball tricks, like dribbling between the legs, all throughout the game.

Are these the kinda ideas you are looking for? Or something more specific?

Any chance of rolling in a 3rd basket? Then placing it on the side of the field, halfway between the two normal baskets? Then adding a 3rd (or 6th) team? Each team only being allowed to shoot in 1 or 2 particular baskets.

Every time a car comes by pretend to through the ball at it. Just joking.
