Why is Chipotle so delicious?
I don’t have one around me at school and Chipotle is the one place I stop first when I get back home. While I spent 4 months in Barcelona, Chipotle was the one meal I missed the most and it was the first stop I made after being back in the US.

because it is delicious and not loaded with chemicals.
I don’t know. I have never eaten there. However, my daughter says it is really good and is excited because one is about to open here in our town. From reading reviews it sounds as if the company is trying to sell fresh and organic foods within a fast food model. It certainly has to be better than Taco Bell. However, it looks as though it doesn’t have the equivalent of Taco Cabanas rotisserie chicken, which is marvelous stuff.
We recently tried the highly touted Taco Bueno chain and discovered that what it served wasn’t particularly Mexican and wasn’t even good.
@Darwin TACO CABANA! i love them, too!
craving Chipotle soooo bad
it’s all in el sazón, my friend
that’s the seasonings for ya in spanish
Chipotle is owned by McDonalds, so it is a fast food spin off if you will. If I had to describe the atmosphere, I would say it is like the energy of a Starbucks mixed with the setup of a Subway subs.
Over a 1000 calories in my food? No, thank you.
I would like to live a healthy and long lasting life and not get a heart attack before 40.
@CaseyWVU10 was owned by McDonalds. They were sold off in 2006.
I don’t know. I love Chipotle. A lot. I go there as much as I can and I never get tired of it. I think it’s the cilantro lime rice. I mean, they make everything in front of you…I don’t see how it can be “unnatural” just because it’s a chain.
It’s way better than Baja Fresh.
My only complaint about Chipotle is that sometimes they make it so fast that it’s a little sloppily done and there’s no one else in line. It’s like: calm the fuck down, seriously. I don’t need it done in 3 seconds if it’s going to spill out the side or have only a small amount of rice.
It just is, okay?
After having three people link me to this question and tell me my answer was needed here, I had to answer. I’m at a loss for words though and I don’t really know what makes them so great – they just are. And Chip would agree.
it’s because they put an addictive chemical in it that makes you crave it fortnightly…smartass.

Bit contradictory, eh? =]

@CaseyWVU10 And actually, (since I, too, love Chipotle, and read up on it) it was an independent chain and McDonalds bought a majority share of the company, which they have since sold.
Chipotle is three blocks from my flat. I go there probably once a month and get the chicken soft tacos with guac. They’re not bad. But if the taco truck from 14th Street and 8th Avenue were three blocks from me, I’ll tell you what, I’d be there! So much better.
I was underwhelmed. And disappointed.
Eh. Chipotle is okay. Overhyped IMO.
Probably because of the freshness of everything. I enjoy Chipotle about once a month, but I have friends that could live off of it. I get tired of a lot of places pretty easily.
During the day, I take my mother to Chipotle’s. We usually get a Bol and ask for a little extra lettuce. One is big enough to fill both of us. I do enjoy the chipotle Tabasco. The neo-industrial design of the one in our neighborhood makes it kind of a neat place to just look around at. plus I get double stamps as a disabled vet
