I can’t drive at all. how long would it take me to learn how to drive? (please no one chime in and say “depends whether you pass or fail”... duh-uhhh, I never thought of that!) and after that, how long to take to learn to drive a bus? do I need a special test for it? and roughly how much would it cost. thank you in advance for your answers.

You need a specific class of license to drive a bus. Your local DMV or other regional driving regulatory body, will be able to provide you with all the requirements
How old are you? I only ask because under a certain age, some (all?) states require you to go through formal driver’s ed classes and have a provisional license before you can get a regular driver’s license. If you are over that age, and don’t need to meet those requirements, it could be a much shorter period of time. No one can really predict how long it will take you, personally, to learn how to drive. Some take to it quickly and others really struggle with it. As for driving a bus, I’m pretty sure you have to take CDL classes and pass the CDL test to get a license for that. Good luck!
Read the Motor Vehicle Handbook for your state. It will specify the length of time required to get the different classes of license. If you wish to drive a bus as an employee of a company, they would probably have a length of time required due to the need to have the appropriate amount of experience.
Driving requires more than the actual ability to operate a motor vehicle, You also need experience in how other dirvers might behave and many different things that can happen with a vehicle in real-time.
@augustlan: yes, I know that some people take to driving quicker than others. I have no idea of minimum and maximum time and I figured that some of you did.
anyway, my age won’t present a problem.
@YARNLADY: I should have made it clear that I meant getting a license to drive a bus that I own and live in, rather than for work.
checking out the dmv website and looking under your state should provide you with some info.
@Ria777 thanks for the clarification
yeah, I should have made that clear when I first asked the question.
