What does a double hug mean?
I’ve never got a double hug before until this tuesday from my guy friend(which i used to have a crush on but not anymore) and you know I’ve seen shows where a guy give a girl a double hug then the girl gets all excited because it meant that he likes her and all.
So I wanted to know the real meaning of a double hug.

Never heard of a double hug. I’ve heard of double kisses. One on each cheek.
What’s a double hug? It sounds strangely awkward.
Certainly a hug of any sort means the other person likes you at least a little bit.
He’s double dipping?
Is it like he hugs you with his head going on one side of your head and then the other?
That’s new to me. Sounds nice though.
Unless it’s an unwelcome hug. Then it’s just doubly awkward.
You mean to pull someone close to embrace, release them ,and then pull them close once more? That kinda sounds like humping.
Is it when the guy gives you a soft one arm hug and then holds you tighter?
I think it’s when you hug two people at once. A smaller version of a “group hug.”
It’s when you hug someone for an extended period of time. I just made that up, but it sounds nice
A hug is a hug, never heard of a double hug or a triple hug… and if you say that he is not into you anymore, why are you still wondering?? If he does like you, he will show it in other ways, not by hugging you… I hug my friends all the time, doesn’t mean im into them!
It’s impossible to tell what a double hug means without more specifics of the scenario of the first hug and his situation and mindset. Now I’m not saying this is the case, so don’t jump to conclusions, but imagine if you will, that the first hug was the normal hug and the second one was due to his believing that it was to be the final hug and he wanted to hold you close one more time and for an extra bit of time. This could be due to the change in your relationship, or him moving on or moving away, or who knows.
Please, for heaven’s sake don’t read anything of what I’m about to share as having anything to do with your situation, but being in the latter stages of a terminal disease, I have been guilty of a few double hugs and see many more ahead of me as I say good bye to family and friends. It’s something I’ve seen coming for sometime and thought I was prepared for, but it’s nothing you can truly prepare for. Its difficult, expends a lot of energy and emotion, but I’m grateful I was given the opportunity and time to tell loved ones how much I love them, to wish them well and have a sort of closure.
See ya….Gary/wtf
Could it be a hug from the front and one from behind? If so, a hug from behind is like saying ‘can you feel the love tonight?’ and that would mean something. If not, then I don’t know. I’m just a bunny. We double hug a lot.
You hug someone. It wasn’t a good hug. You correct it with a second hug.

Now, don’t ever make me do that again.
i feel like an old person who just can’t understand the slang of the youth
I’m thinking it’s like: hug, hold at arms length to really take in the person, and think… Mmm! That’s some good jelly! You’re scrumptious! Get back here! then the second hug.
Hug left, hug right. Like the double kiss is one on each cheek.
that’s my guess, anyway
I just did an unfiltered Google Image search for double hug.
I wouldn’t recommend it.
<——Going to do an unfiltered Google Image search for double hug.
Be right back.
@Tink1113…Perhaps you have not yet heard that Google has found a way to measure the searchers perversions. I don’t believe I need to explain why @Blondesjon obtained the results he received. See ya….Gary/wtf
@whatthefluther You might be right! Again. Seeing that I am a gift from above, I have never searched for porn. Intentionally. Who knows what kind of things @Blondesjon has seen…
@Tink1113….I, myself, shudder to to think. See ya….Gary/wtf
@Tink1113….lol…scarred for life and bound for psychoanalysis, no doubt!
he wants to feel attached to you
