Why can't I insert the cursor to change previously written text in Outlook 2007?

Are you sure you have already hit reply or forward? You have to start the new email to change old text.

Hmmm. I just know I sometimes make that mistake…not sure what it could be? Hopefully, someone will know.

I have met people (well… my mum, but did’t want to put you on her level) that had this same problem. Turned out that they sometimes tried to edit the message in the preview pane, rather than after truly opening the message.
