Because my son did something to my speakers so they won’t work. I don’t know what he does, and he doesn’t remember, but it happens to every computer he messes with, especially if it belongs to someone else.

@uberbatman – No, not at all. I think he has somehow screwed up the drivers, and I am not interested in trying to wander through Dell’s CD to try to find the right one. Because of how Dell sets things up, Windows/Vista will not load a driver from that disk. You have to go find it and “run” it, and they all have indecipherable names. That means you have to run each one in sequence until you find the one that works with your set up. Dell includes all the drivers for every machine they make on the disk, not just the ones you need.
This is so messed up, all I can do is listen to RandomAssRadio from the livingroom because WTF gets mad because I keep telling him to say something for me but he won’t. My pc is down and I all I have my iPhone! This sucks!!! Hey Andrew you sounded GREAT!!! And thank you! (a soft kiss on your cheek) so did you Jon!
I think I missed Andrew and I’m watching jonsblond and sakata now, which is cool. is there any way I can see the part that Andrew was on?

Fuck… i was waiting for the show to start… the missus got a flat and i had to go to the rescue… however i’m a little confused. What’s the time zone? it says something about 7:30… thought it was eastern time…. i’m on pacific. Confusion.
Anyway… i might have been able to get back to the show in time if i hadn’t been rewarded with dinner for changing the flat. Maybe next week!

Jon and Andy look like identical twins. And with Snow Leopard and the mentality of someone who used a black dial phone all her youth, I was able to click and listen and watch without a moment’s bother.
Even when the winds turned the power off for a minute, on for a minute, off and on again, there it was….unkillable. RAR.
@DarkScribe – No, he doesn’t know from Skype. With him it is more likely to be a hardware issue. He is very tough on electronics of all sorts, and tends to hit them when he gets mad. However, he also tries to load an old copy of Flight Simulator everywhere he can, and that also poses problems.
@Darwin that old copy of Flight Simulator needs to disappear. =)
I didn’t know this was going on and I don’t have the time to watch it now (plus apparently half of it didn’t get recorded?). @Allie‘s screenshot did make it seem like a good show though.

@sccrowell There is a drink in mexico called a michelada in which you mix mexican beer (XX, Tecate, Pacifico or Modelo are the preffered brands… Corona is not as popular and is mostly produced for export although still tasty) and lime juice, salt, pepper, worchestershire sauce, a bit of soy sauce, tobasco and in some cases Clamato (like a “Bloody Beer”).
Incredibly refreshing it´s fantastic on a hot day. However a few beer we respect too much to do this to, including Heineken and Guinness (my all time favorite).
i had a friend from El Salvador who’d mix a Corona, Sol Limon (that mexican “candy” of lime-flavored salt) and a shot bottle of citron vodka.
yeah, i never tried it. but he loved it.
never tried a “Sol limon” candy… but there is a version of Sol beer with lime in it called Sol Limon…. artificial lime flavor… do not want.
@Dr_C it comes in a packet. it’s lime flavored salt. he always brought it over with the chili covered lollipops.
i had another friend who’d put it on cantaloupe and apples.
