How do I make an international call to a Norweigan cell phone?

I think to dial out of the US, I press 011 first, right? or is it 001? the number I was given starts with +47, which I“m assumig is the country code.

011 is the start to all international calls, followed by the country code and number.

It’s worth knowing also that if the number starts with a “0” within the country, you generally drop it when you dial from overseas.

47 is the national code of norway :)
