Am I right that there's no way to jailbreak 3.1.2 yet?

Asked by marmoset (1341points) October 8th, 2009

Assume an iPhone were currently running jailbroken OS 2.2, and the owner wanted jailbroken OS 3.1 (and would be happy with either 3.1 or 3.1.2).

The owner could not accomplish that at the moment, correct? Instead s/he would have to wait until a jailbreak method is released for 3.1.2? (Because there’s no way to upgrade to 3.1, rather than 3.1.2, through iTunes?) Or am I missing something?
