Whatever happened to that last guy TBS was trying to shove down our throats?

The baseball playoffs are apparently the only time I watch TBS. This year, they’re doing their best to convince us George Lopez is the best thing ever. Last time, it was that guy who does impressions. Every single commercial break featured this guy doing impressions of President Bush, Jack Nicholas, and others.
Whatever became of him? Is his show still on? Or was TBS’s over-the-top marketing completely not enough to overcome the fact that he was… a guy doing impressions?

It was Frank Caliendo and his show was called Frank TV
maybe they realized he was as irritating as we all knew he was.
They probably realized that the impressions were funny for a half-hour special, but not consistently funny enough for a series.
Fairly sure you’re talking about Frank Caliendo as @jaketheripper mentions
TBS is my favorite channel, but it’s not because of their original shows. Lopez Tonight is going to be just as bad as Frank TV, House of Payne, Meet the Browns, and the Bill Engvall Show. Their only succesful original show is My Boys.
He’s mostly doing impressions before Football games on Fox. I haven’t seen him anywhere else. Sad, he’s a funny guy.
I’ve recently been watching his sitcom. I never liked George Lopez before, but he’s grown on me.
Nope looks like it’s done for.
As of January 2009 Frank TV has officially been canceled and will not be airing reruns. When asked about a third season, Frank Caliendo commented by saying, “We’re not coming back. It hasn’t been announced, but we’re done. The time has come and gone for the show, unfortunately”.
