There are certain things that I irrationally hate, like the movie, "The Sound of Music". Does anyone else have irrational hatred of a song, movie, or another work of art? Where does this come from?

I loathe: Mary Poppins, Sound of Music, Oklahoma.

However, I know the reason why. It’s because I have sisters; sisters who watched Oklahoma every day for an entire summer and would sing or quote a line from it every time I was around them. I couldn’t care less Curly was sitting on a stove!

They were the same with the other musicals.

For whatever reason, country music grates on me. I’d rather listen to fingernails on a chalkboard.

Also, the TV show “Little House on the Prarie” really bothers me too. I’m not really sure why.

I hate “It’s A Small World” because we rode through it at Disneyland and heard the song over and over forever!

I absolutely LOATHE the majority of any form of modern pop music. LOATHE it. No idea why.

I could make the aesthetic reason, or the anti-big business reason. But the fact is it just offends my moral sensibilities. And my ears. And my stomach. And…....

They recently had to shut down and dredge out the “Small World” ride at Disney World because some of the people who were riding had become so weighty that the boats were bottoming out. This is true! (I don’t know if they thought of renaming the ride, “It’s a really incredibly BIG world after all.”)

I hate when people irrationally write the entire description in the title and leave the details paragraph empty.

I’ve always irrationally loathed Forrest Gump (maybe because it got the oscar over Pulp Fiction and The Shawshank Redemption). And even though I’ve never seen it, I also can’t stand Rent.

YES ben im not alone! I hate Forrest Gump and im always crucified when i tell people this. Good to know im not the only one.

As far as music goes I cant stand Country or this crap that is being marketed as rap now a days. Soulja boy. COME ON what is this crap.

Gotta agree with the hating rap music. Though I wouldn’t really consider that irrational.

And anything starring Martin Lawrence. Has that man ever said something funny?
