Eurasia? Where exactly do you want to go? (Or know about?)
Cheapest? Finding a way to stow away in a plane.
the 757 from JFK to reykjavik is like $200.
swim across the atlantic, naked
your probability of survival is nearly zero, but hey, it’s free!

Yeah, thinking. Tell me the city you want to go to.
@steelerspilot Anything in Eurasia basically, China I guess. The starting destination would have to be CA. I wouldn’t really mind walking there if I was able to do that.
Let’s go with Beijing. Try Air Asia or Air China. Delta or United probably go that route. Look it up and tell me
Flying is fairly expensive.
Well, If you want to travel anywhere you have to pay and it is exspensive. Air travel is quick and easy. There really isnn’t any other way.
I could build a ship out of scrap and sail there, but I’m looking for easier ideas.
Yeah. Fly dude! The airlines like your business. I always get free stuff from the airlines. Hats, shirts, ect. I get this stuff because I give them business. I travel a lot.
@steelerspilot – Quit it. He obviously wants another idea, and you’re being completely unhelpful. Knock it off.
@Samurai – I don’t know any specifics, but I have heard there are ways to get on board freight ships for pretty cheap. Maybe check out some backpacker’s websites and the like. Sorry I don’t have a specific link to help you out, but maybe it will help a bit.

@steelerspilot – He’s not asking for a “simple” way. He’s asking for an inexpensive way. Traveling by boat will take longer, yes. But I think the experience would be incredible.
Well I can probobly get him a cheap airline deal. And boating to Asia will take weeks. That may be cheap, but do you want to spend most of your trip in the middle of the pacific.
@Samurai, you did a bad job of formatting this question. Mind reading is sometimes difficult on Fluther, but not always impossible…
20 Questions about your question
Did you just learn the word Eurasia, and want the opportunity to use it?
Are you actually asking how to get anywhere in Eurasia?
Do you you know a specific place in Eurasia where you want to go? Eurasia’s big—36.2% of the earth’s land surface.
Do you want to travel around Eurasia to multiple destinations and have no clue what they are?
Are you seeking vacation planning input?
Once you find whatever it is you’re looking for, do you intend to stay there for perpetuity, or will you need to return to the US at some point?
@Everyone I don’t care if it takes a year to get there, any means that you can think of that would cost very little of be completely free is what I have in mind, hope I can get some great ideas!
@steelerspilot I appreciate your help, but not into flying unless its absolutely free you know?
@Les Yeah, a freight could be pretty cool.
@PandoraBoxx
-I didn’t just learn of the word “Eurasia”, you can google it if you wish.
-Anywhere in Eurasia would suffice.
-I do not know the specific place.
-Yeah, I suppose.
-Not planning on a vacation, but it would be nice if it was.
-I plan to wander around from city to city.
@Samurai, I don’t need to Google it; I learned in 2nd grade, and can locate it on a map without having to use Mapquest. You’re talking about 36.2% of the Earth’s land mass.
Your question is akin to asking, “I’m in Kansas. Where can I go to swim in the ocean?”
@PandoraBoxx Please make a better complaint if that’s what your trying to do.
Some basic ideas like:
-Join the Navy
-Salvage a ship
-Join the Air Force
-Join the airlines
-Grab a freight
Become a flight attendent
@uberbatman Do you want the question to be well made just like a movie, or have some creativity to allow some freedom for you to decide?
@steelerspilot Yeah yeah, I get it Dx.
Are we running away from home?
@Sarcasm I made the question vague on purpose, so it doesn’t need all the detail that doesn’t actually really matter.
@Samurai nahhh just some simple information, details maybe?
Hi can someone please tell me how to get to the ocean?
@uberbatman Just go left and keep walking. You’re bound to find it.
Well it is a 10 minute drive. All I do is head east
@uberbatman I see how this question might be vague, but there’s hardly anything different from my position then everyone else. So it doesn’t need to be detailed.
Samurai, you are right. I am not a big fan of very detailed stuff
” but there’s hardly anything different from my position then everyone else.” Huh?
@uberbatman That was vague. Let me revise: If someone asked “how to get money” you’d most likely say “get a job”, but you don’t need to know that their a frog that lives in a sewer.
@Samurai What you are saying really, is that you don’t care where you go as long as you leave the US for free, and it’s not Africa. Enlisting would probably be your choice.

” you’d most likely say “get a job”, but you don’t need to know that their a frog that lives in a sewer.”
Dude seriously….wtf are you talking about….
@uberbatman I think he got into his older brother’s pot stash.
See, unlike humans, frogs can’t ask questions on the internet, regardless of where they live.
No sarcasm there, I’m serious, frogs can’t ask questions on the internet. Look it up
@Sarcasm You must have never met a real frog, she’s one of a kind. Almost like a fairy and a geany in a lamp combined.
Guys, give @Samurai a break already. Yeah, the question could’ve been phrased in a better way like @oratio put it: “What you are saying really, is that you don’t care where you go as long as you leave the US for free, and it’s not Africa”, but we get it now, so let’s answer it.
And I agree with @oratio, get enlisted, or get into a job which will require travel and just specify that you don’t want to go to either Africa or South America..
Also, working on spelling and grammar might help.
@Saturated_Brain
People are probably scared of asking questions on here in fear of getting criticized. If someone asked a question that doesn’t make complete sense its good to use common sense to guess what they are meaning. I will work on being less vague in the future and glad that you decided to end this argument.
Haha! Someone must have bad grammar and spelling.
@Samurai f someone asked a question that doesn’t make complete sense its good to use common sense to guess what they are meaning.
Ok, I’ll ask you one with as much information as you provided. You guess and give a valid answer.
I am in Australia (7,686,850 km2) – what is the cheapest way for me to get to my home?
You don’t know where I live, and you don’t know where I am at the moment (I travel a lot).
As for your original query, carry no ID and get yourself arrested for a misdemeanor then only speak French to any authorities. With a little bit (or a lot) of luck they’ll deport you to France.
@darkScribe You didn’t state where your home was, something like “America” would suffice. I would say to you to ask a sheriff or a tourist guide and tell them what it is like where you live, hopefully they may know where you live and recommend an easy way to get there assuming that you live in Australia.
By the way, is this where you are? http://psephos.adam-carr.net/countries/a/australia/images/australiamap.gif
Join the Merchant Marines, they go everywhere, and since it is the military, everything is free.
@Samurai By the way, is this where you are?
No, this is where I am
@DarkScribe A link to your yahoo account? I don’t think you can get out of there.
@Samurai A link to your yahoo account? I don’t think you can get out of there.
Flickr, not Yahoo. You can get out if you really try.
@DarkScribe Your link does redirect me to the yahoo login page.
@Sarcasm Your link does redirect me to the yahoo login page.
Strange – it is just a link to flickr – yahoo should have nothing to do with it. I’ll check it.
Fixed – it was marked private and anyone who wanted to view it needed a flickr or Yahoo account. Should work now. Thanks for letting me know.
@DarkScribe All those buildings seem very new, and the beach is very over crowded. Other then that looks like a great place to live.
@Samurai All those buildings seem very new, and the beach is very over crowded.
Building started in the sixties (high rise) and the beach is almost deserted. It was taken in mid-winter.
This is a crowded beach
@DarkScribe There’s a crane on one of the buildings, whats that about?
If its winter it must really get crowded during the summer considering the population capacity in that small area.
Ah yeah, that pic is insanely crowded.
@Samurai _There’s a crane on one of the buildings, whats that about? _
I have no idea, maintenance, still building. Many of the buildings have cranes.
It does get crowded – it is a tourist hot spot. When the Indy race is on you can hardly move for tourists.
