Has anyone used woman's rogaine and did it work?

I’ve currently been diagnosed with female androgenic alopecia. Has anyone used the 5% solution for men?

No, but I know when my mother lost her hair from chemo they gave her a shampoo called Wen that grows and thickens hair. I think it’s pricey but she said it worked well. You can check it out here.
