Since the release of OS 3.1 and now 3.1.2 I’ve been waiting for a stable jailbreak to be announced. I’m using a jailbroke iPod Touch 2g on 3.0 right now. Has anyone tried to jailbreak since the updates? What application did you use?

Supposedly blackra1n can jailbreak any version of the OS, especially 3.1. Although I haven’t tried it myself.
I would give that a shot. He has a Windows & Mac version of the software available.
PM and let me know how it goes.
@Breefield Yeah, I saw blackra1n but I don’t know how stable it is. Last time I used redsn0w but they haven’t come out with a successful jailbreak on the updates. I don’t know if I should just wait or go ahead with blackra1n.
Just try it. I mean, if it fails you can just restore right?
Which resets all settings and apps, not fun.
Well, you’re kinda playing with fire to begin with…
Thanks for the late reply, I used blackra1n a few days after I asked this Q and it worked fine.
Sorry, but glad to hear it worked for you!
