Sure, why not? Yes, you’d be trading two devices for one. But (IMO) the iPhone 3gS would be just as good an iPod as the iPod, and a better smartphone than the Blackberry, so…

Fairness can only be determined between the two people trading. What is fair to some may not be fair to others.

@missingbite Good point! I should clarify. I think such a trade is to 2late2be’s advantage in terms of the devices themselves. I think 2late2be gets the advantage of the trade in functionality & convenience terms. But would it be “fair” to the other person? Depends on what they would want to do with the iPod and Blackberry, I guess…

I think you’re getting the short end of the stick here speaking strictly of money.
The Blackberry 8900 is a new phone and iTouches are also in big demand.

@The_Compassionate_Heretic. well, his iPhone is one month old, my touch it isn’t, and my 8900 is maybe 3 months old, both work and look perfect but as I am on pay as you go with AT&T, I can’t have blackberry data on my 8900, which means I can’t sync my email, use AIM or yahoo messenger or anything like that, I think I will be able to do that on the iPhone with the data plan try offer on AT&T, so I’m willing to lose a little bit, to gain that.

I had an iTouch and a BlackBerry Pearl and happily gave up the two to my younger sister for the iPhone 3G and I could not be happier! to go from 2 devices (which we’re great) to one sleek compact device was by far a great move! But this is only my opinion on the topic ^_^ – LB
