(Geology) Does anyone know what the difference is between a batholith and a sill?

Both are igneous rock intrusions. What distinguishes the sill is its sheet-like form, with fairly even thickness throughout. It’s formed by magma intruding between layers of sedimentary rock.

The batholith can be completely irregular in form, though it is often dome shaped. Its distinguishing feature is its massive size, having an exposed surface of more than 100 square kilometers.
