Have you ever tried to move something with your mind just for fun?

You have no expectations that it will actually work, but why not, it’s worth a shot, right? Anyone?

yes, it never seems to do anything though… =(
Yes, sadly, I have tried this.
And I ultimately had to get up and walk accross the room to get the cookies.
Nightly, when my legs fall asleep after Milo has perched himself in my lap for an hour. It works (although the shove might contribute to my success).
I moved myself out of the couch once with my mind
After watching the Matrix yes
All those who belive in telekinesis raise my right hand.
For some reason I always try this with pencils. It’s the only time it comes to mind.
Alas the pencil never moves though.
Whenever I’m too lazy to get something I try to move it with my mind, or say accio (insert item I’m trying to get here). Never seems to work.
Yes. It’s pretty effin hard.
Levante, levante, levante….!
I like the Stephen Wright quote: All of you who believe in telekinesis, please raise my hand.
I have multiple times. I believe it is possible, but our brains need to evolve much more. Eventually we will be able to do more, I only wish I could live to see it, but sadly I won’t, and none of you, your children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren and hundreds more after that.
There’s a new toy out… and toys are usually foreshadows of bigger and better uses to come… called Mindflex. Where you use your thoughts to control a ball on top of a stream of air and how high or low it goes… with your mind.

I’d rather try to fly the way that Arthur Dent did in the Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy, by throwing myself at the ground and by having my attention distracted by something unusual at the moment just before I hit the ground.
Telekinesis, not so much.
_ I tried that with a friend way back when we were kids. We were not successful. I miss him, come to think of it._
There is a game that reads your brainwaves. It allows you to walk around and throw objects at the other player through telekenisis. It’s really cool and you can team up to lift things like cars.
I have tried this, and failed. More than once.
Yes and I ended up with nothing more than a headache and wanting back the 5 or so minutes I wasted thinking I could suddenly and miraculously be telekinetic.
Oh, so many times. I usually trick myself into believing I have moved it.
I’m another “Accio [object]!” person. No luck so far. But I haven’t lost hope.
Yeah, then my supercute girlfriend, who was working as the receptionist, jiggled the coatrack with her umbrella, which our insane beet farmer co-worker didn’t suspect.
Yes, so far it’s never worked though :(
eh mostly using harry potter spells :)
How do you think I am typing this?
Yeah, after watching the matrix for the first time. I stared at a spoon for an hour or so, concentrating as hard as possible until I turned away to see my mom staring at me with a “You scare me” face…
I bend spoons when I’m bored….
I tried once, after staring at it hard for so long it was passed to me…so I guess it worked in a roundabout way.
haha this one time I was bored in my apartment bedroom and I was staring at my lamp, and figured I’d give it a try, see if I could turn it on with my noodle and such. focused on it for a couple minutes and then it turned on. For about 15 seconds I was convinced I turned it on with my mind, then my girlfriend peaked her head around the corner… forgot my light switch is in the hallway…
haha i tried to send a wind through the trees with my eyes after watching matilda!
I’ve never moved a thing with my mind. But I have moved minds with my thing.
Yes I’ve tried it and moved some dust when let out my pent up breath!
Every once in a while, it occurs to me to try, and I succeed… But then I wake up, and the ability goes away. Dag-nabbit!
I have. No luck.
I’ll try again.
