Veselka – anything 24hrs and ukrainian is the way to go. (amazing baked goods to boot)
Cafe Lulu – chicks dig it.
Cranberry’s in Brooklyn Heights. one of the best. good sandwiches too.
i’m assuming by NYC you mean all five boroughs
Cafe Lalo it’s the one in “You’ve Got Mail” I don’t live in or near NY, but if I ever get to visit I’m heading to that one!
@SpatzieLover – I used to live up that way. It is indeed faboo! As well, they have extremely tasty desserts and pretty fairy lights strung up through the trees.
For me, aside from Cranberry (which is so quaint!) the only other nearby place in my neighborhood where I’d go to for coffee is Connecticut Muffin on Montague. Fresh, hot coffee, lovely little red velvet cupcakes and the occasional Gabriel Byrne or Paul Giametti sighting! Tazo’s not as awesome as I’d hoped. It’s overpriced and seems so sterile and cold and meh, somehow. Maybe the one on Atlantic and Henry isn’t that way.
I make better coffee at home than anything you can buy outside.
@Psychedelic_Zebra if he’s in NYC, he’s only like 1 hr away. i can go and mock the yankees before the phillies kick their asses.
Yeah, like that’s gonna happen.
I like Cafe Grumpy
20th St btw 7th&8th ave.
They just opened a place in the Slope.

I agree. The best coffee in Chelsea can be had at Cafe Grumpy!
