I need to know them, individually.
I’m blanking out. And my notes are not helping.

Legislative: To create laws
Executive: To enforce laws
Judicial: To interpret laws [and the constitutionality of them].
Special powers of the Legislative branch: House has the power to impeach, and they act as a tie-breaker for the Electoral College; Senate gets to confirm presidential appointments and ratify treaties. Together they are allowed to declare war.
Special powers of the Executive branch: President can sign or veto acts of congress, he is a diplomat who can make treaties.
Special powers of the Judicial branch: They swear-in the president (Chief Justice Roberts does, specifically), and they have the power of Judicial Review [interpreting the constitutionality of a law].
Now I have Schoolhouse Rock stuck in my head. I’m just a bill. Yes, I’m only a bill. And I’m sitting here on Capitol Hill.
@Haleth Great. Now you’ve passed that earworm along to me. Thanks. ~
@Haleth I’m an Amendment to be, yes an Amendment to be, and I’m hoping that they’ll ratify me.
The lines between the branches are blurring at an alarming rate…
