OK so I assume you are just dying to know why I’m blogging about hair of all things.
I have this blog and lately I’ve been having trouble thinking of stuff to blog about, so this week I’m doing a “Ways to think about _______” thing (like Reader’s Digest) and every day I’m gonna call a friend and ask them what should go in the blank. Today my friend told me to do hair. So does anybody know of some good hair sites? I tried googling it and it gave me ways to style hair. that was NO help.

You could do Hair the Production.
You could do the controversy on Black Hair that Chris rock is currently doing a documentary on.
You could do hair care or hair styles.
You could also do a little piece on those without hair who are in chemo to support them too.
You could do something on things hair are used for like wigs and crafts.
Go to Jezebel.com and look for the articles about Good Hair (the Chris Rock documentary @RedPowerLady mentioned). The articles about it include many GREAT comments from readers about the issue. If you aren’t aware the issue, it’s very informative. If you are, it gives you somewhere to get some ideas.
You could go to hairdressers and ask patrons if you could do a before-and-after shot. They’re always fun to read about, though I think teenagers would be more likely to be comfortable with that sort of thing.
hey since I’m 13 so that’s alright!
You should blog about all the really stupid names that salons have. Like, Hairport, Scissor Wizards, Afro to Go, Faded, etc.
I lovethis site because you can upload your own picture and try on all sorts of different hair styles. I’mnot sure if that is the kind of thing you are looking for, but it’s still fun.
Oh! I was just reminded—you could talk about Curly Hair Salons. There are people who specialize in cutting and treating curly hair. Because straight hair is so much more common, most people don’t know about them—not even curly haired people.
