even if it’s a guess from somebody that’s been on here for a long time, how many people do you think are on here?

Too many to count but lots of great people with great things to say.
It would be fun to know how many people were on line at any given time, and I don’t think it is very difficult to implement such a feature.
no I mean how many accounts are there?
in my short time here i have seen about 50 or so regular daily visitors. @pdworkin i see every time i come here. and then you have a whole bunch of people who drop by from time to time.
i would say a couple hundred or so. and one more if you are going to stick around.
its not really important though, the main thing i would say is the quality of answers on this site is much better than most.
Someone tried this in another thread and failed, but what the hell. Let’s count.

There are roughly nine million accounts.
There are only 3 people though. All three of us take on a lot of personas.
I’m having a hard time believing there’s over a million.

The “Jelly-Helper” award, the one given out to the highest number of people, has been given out to 10636 accounts.
But that includes accounts that aren’t used any more, and may also include banned accounts.
Still, there are only three “men behind the curtains” so to speak.
My estimate is that 5% of all registered user create 95% of all questions and answers.

I’m sure you could find out on some web site that specializes in tracking. Like this traffic site did Fluther for me
Looks like about 215,000 unique visitors just last month. Google’s great!
To many to stay but not enough to visit.
