How does it make you feel inside, when the word PIZAZZ slides off your tongue?

My first, honest, thought was ‘jazz hands’.
It feels like I’m trying too hard to convey something. Maybe UMPH is just more common for me. Plus with UMPH you can do that extra HOOOH and shove your elbows back real quick.
Then I’d do the jazz hands.
sparkle, energy, flash, personality,fun
Liberace? Some kind of Moulin Rouge connotation, or John Leguizamo or something.
It makes me think of that episode of Metalocalypse where they keep riffing on Zazz.
Murderface: We’ve been talking Skwisgar and, we think this whole production could be a lot more… zippy. It just, it needs zazz! Am I, I mean I’m right to say that right?
Nathan: No, you’re right to say that. It’s just, you know, you could stand to zazz it a up a little bit more.
Pickles: No offense Skwisgar but I gotta say this whole thing, it uh, it lacks zazz.
Murderface: You could just put it on the zazz train to zazz-ville.
Toki: Yeah because no offense there’s absolutely no zazz to be found, not here anyway, not in these parts.
Nathan: What we’re trying to say is that there’s two kinds of shows out there, those with and those without…
Skwisgaar: Could you please stop saying zazz?
Nathan: Zazz.
Pickles: Zazz.
Skwisgaar: Please stop saying zazz.
Pickles: Why don’t you let us help you out?
Murderface: Yeah and lighten the load, make it more zaaa – ohh, you know.
And also this video. Nothing has more pizazz.
I think of a college student savior. I used my Pizazz just last night for a perfectly, evenly cooked pizza.
Pizzazz (also known as zazz, zing, zork, or kapowza)* is to me, enthusiasm put into something that makes it more interesting and more appealing. Flair, zest, energy. I agree with @virtualist. Pizzazz makes something fun.
*call it what you want. In any language, it spells mazuma in the bank. :P
(In a haughty French accent): “Ahhh, pizazz….. Pizazz is a certain, je ne sais pas, flair, I suppose…”
A word for an extra spark of glamour or excitement.
Pizza spelled wrong. But I’m drunk and hungry.
PIZAZZ
Jem and the Holograms, the animated television series, used it excessively. But when I don’t hear the Ha (jazz hand sound) and see sequins and spandex, my mind immediately when to pizza places fighting for listings or just conjugating pizza bc they think it’s cute: zzio zzesto zzesti… same as Lazzario LorenZo Lozano Lee’s Lou’s Liugi. which is weird that is just occurred to me.
@nmac That is maybe one of the best answers, ever.
@peedub really? since i have no idea why pizazz seriously made me think of 4 totally made up definitions… c’est une chouette -ness about the word, that ZOo ZEe ZAa that captured my dork dar.
@nmac I purposely sent out dorkdar signals. That’s the only way to get a real answer these days.
any word with a Z in it gets my attention. Makes me think of zebraz.
@Psychedelic_Zebra Not me! When I see words like ‘zit’ , I immediately go into a shortterm memory loss syndrome. Now… words like ‘zipper’ are fascinating to me!
Pizza covered in awesomeness?
Pizazz, eh? I feel like I should be in a musical number on Broadway:
Come on, Babe,
Why don’t we paint the town?
And all that jazz!
I’m gonna rouge my knees
And roll my stockings down
And all that jazz!
Start the car
I know a whoopee spot
Where the gin is cold
but the piano’s hot
It’s just a noisy hall
Where there’s a nightly brawl
And all
That
Jazz!
Well it was my best friend’s favorite word in sixth grade and she thought it was hilarious so we made it both of our email passwords. She died later that year in a car wreck, and I still use it as my password..
Pizazz is moxie. It’s the special something, that when added to something else makes it irresistible. winks
What is pizazz? @IBERnineD.
She throws glitter, confetti and shit at you when you aren’t looking, just sitting there minding your own business, watching TV. Then she jazz hands your ass, and exits stage left.
True story.
I would argue but it’s true. Shewasall_ after I surprised her, and me after classes.
@nmac Wow I forgot all about Jem and the Holograms until just now.
:(
“Pizazz” is a word I don’t use. It sounds too flamboyant, if you know what I mean.
