I believe that action is called bagel-facing.
I’ve never heard of such behavior.
Flubberdedub. That’s what I call it when you wiggle your finger between your lips while making noise.
Wait, while humming? erm.
no idea.
Yes, while humming. “Making noise” could be anything from stomping your foot to typing on your keyboard, right? ;)
We should make up a name!
Mumblerumble. Kazookiss, vibratingvirtuoso.
Yes, there should definitely be a name for it. If expelling air through your lips while they are clenching your tongue (i.e. :-P) is called a “raspberry,” then the motion you described should at least be called something.
We used to call it “wabba wabba” when the kids were little. Really.
@janbb: And for our crowd, an elderberry?
For whoever cares, no matter what wording I use in Google, I end up in porn sites and have discovered the worst fiction writers on the planet.
I know,.. well I didn’t know that, but I was finding it quite impossible to find a picture of someone doing this. You’d think it would be a semi standard smiley out there somewhere too,.....
@bagelface: Little kids do it all the time; they find it a wonderful and funny new discovery. I do too, as I am discovering right now. It sounds like Jeruba’s “wabba,” but from my lips to Fluther’s ear, it is more like “wubba,” or “bubbbawubba.”
@gailcalled: That’s probably one of the funniest things I’ve seen written on this site.
@Asmonet: MIlo here; Hey, I am the fellow of infinite jest in this family. I coached Gail on that sentence.
Isn’t that just the way Barbara Walters talks?
While were naming things, what do you call it when you put your face between a woman’s breasts and go…..oh, never mind.
It should have a very similar name.
I’ve always called it “dweeberlips” but I may be crazy. Odd to see what other folks call it. Ask any young kid and you’ll get the answer du jour.
My mother submitted blithering.
