When I make chips ( fries ) they stick together what have I done wrong ?
Right new ( ish ) deep fat fryer , tried all the different temperatures and thickness of the cut . Even tried flouring them before hand , I dab and don’t dab the starchy water from them . Yet when in the fryer they stick together , I shake the basket still sticks its nothing bad I don’t work in a restaurant so the end product doesn’t matter too much i just want them to stop sticking .
I would love to make crisps ( chips ) but the same will happen .
