Why would people want their clothes to smell like candy?
I was walking with a friend and her dog and we passed someone’s clothes dryer vent. She made a comment about the laundry smelling like candy and when I smelled it myself, I had to agree it did. Then, the last load of laundry I did, I used the roomie’s Downy to try it out and ever since, I keep getting whiffs of candy/clean laundry smell.
So the Downy smells like candy. Downy is popular. Why do people want their clothes to smell like candy?

I actually used to wear a cotton candy perfume. I love smelling like that! But I have noo idea if Downy smells like candy or not!
Because candy is DELICIOUS.
I don’t have candy-smelling detergent, nor soap, shampoo, shaving cream or deodorant
I don’t know. But I got a cute shirt for my son at Target the other day, and will be trying to wash the “chocolate” smell off of it. It’s like a scratch and sniff shirt. I don’t understand why anyone would want that.

I actually hate smelling like any kind of laundry product & only buy fragrance-free ones. The only thing I can’t find w/o perfume is all-fabric bleach; consequently I almost never use it.
I WISH my clothes smelled like candy! I buy the most expensive, strongly scented detergents and fabric softener in hopes that my clothes will come out smelling good. But the scent never seems to stick!
Look, as long as the clothes are clean and there isn’t some scary, animatronic teddy bear popping out of the laundry basket giggling and cooing at me, I’ll be satisfied.
@ItalianPrincess1217 – Try Downy, then! Open the bottle at the store and take a sniff, you’ll see I’m not kidding.
